Archery Update

Thanks to the effort of Steve Haverkos, the BCSC received another $2500 grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for the archery range. These funds will be used to purchase quality targets for the 3 D archery range. Several of the 3 D targhets need to be replaced.

A requirement for the ODNR grant is for the BCSC’s support and dedication to our community. Both the 4H and the Boy Scouts use the archery range. On the Field Archery Range, the 4 H added several round bullseye targets. Both groups enjoy the use of the range and are very appreciative of our support.

The 3 D archery course is approximately ½ mile. There are 20 3 D targets and novelty shots. There is also an 80 yard Field Archery course.

I would like to thank all those that assisted with the needed maintenance work on the archery ranges during our “work party” events.

Looking forward to another successful year. Thank you for your continued support.
